A NEW REALITY?

No one could have possibly been prepared for covid to stop the entire world.
Yet here we are.
8 months into the year 2020 and still searching for answers. Still waiting on the return of “normalcy”.
While most are on the brink of insanity, others have used this as a time of self reflection.
Rediscovering their purpose in life and essentially reconnecting with themselves.
If there has been any silver lining throughout this pandemic it is this...
We have been forced to take a step back and reevaluate what is important to us in life.
DAILY LIVES OF A 9-5

If we’re being honest, the majority of workers are not passionate about their job.
They are simply working to pay the bills.
The average Americans daily work schedule doesn’t leave much time for anything else outside of work.
I can assure you.....
We were not born just go to work, eat, sleep & die.
Each and every individual on this earth has a great amount of potential.
It is up to US to search within ourselves and bring that unlimited potential out.
Our upbringing, environment, and genetics all contribute to our beliefs and behavior.
However, one key element that is constantly overlooked when discussing our behavior is our goals.
Our goals, dreams, ambitions and expectations play a large role in our behavior and emotions.
Imagine living a life deprived of goals, dreams, and ambitions.
A scary thought right?
Well that’s the reality that many (Americans) were and currently are facing.
But that is a choice!
WAKE UP CALL

This pandemic has served a wake up call.
In the midst of all the chaos and uncertainty that covid-19 has brought, it has also brought us time.
(A seemingly endless amount)
Time to find that inner peace.
We are constantly distracted by work and technology / social media.
Now we have the chance to take a step back and and ask ourselves,
“What is it that I truly want out of life?”
Take a brief moment out of your day to look in the mirror.
It is important to make time for hobbies and activities that you enjoy. That you find gratifying.
Prior to covid, I don’t believe enough of us made enough room in our schedule to do things we actually enjoy doing.
Mental health is just as important as physical health.
Simply write down a goal.
As well as the steps that you plan on taking to see it through.
If you are creative, take a moment to create.
If you are intrigued about different parts of the world, take a moment to research and learn.
The world is constantly changing, and this pandemic has forced our hand.
We must adapt and adjust in order to overcome.
We MUST keep our minds active during this forced isolation.
So that we can keep our sanity and find our joy & passion in life again.
In essence, throughout it all, we must continue to be…..
WORLD RUNNERS.

I enjoyed this article you really hit a lot of great points. This is definitely the new normal. Inhale The Future, Exhale The Past.
